Staff Accountant (On-Site)

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the integrity of operations reporting. This role is responsible for performing the daily and weekly accounting tasks and reconciliations and supporting the Senior Accountant and Controller with audit preparation/documentation, monthly close, and ad hoc projects. What you will be doing as the Staff Accountant:

  • Reports directly to the Controller with additional oversight from the Senior Accountant. 

  • Conduct responsibilities including general accounting functions, account reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable as well as general administrative duties. 

  • Ensure completion of all daily and weekly general accounting functions. 

  • Support payroll processing as needed. 

  • Assist with annual preparation of 1099 forms and other annual compliance requirements. 

  • Support the Senior Accountant and Controller as needed.  

  • Assist with special projects generated by management team (i.e. inventory, ERP, etc.).  

  What will make you successful as the Staff Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

  • At least 2 years full-cycle accounting experience. Bookkeeping experience is essential. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the rest of the Microsoft Office suite. 

  • Must be eager, proactive, detailed, accurate, have great communication skills, and able to handle tight deadlines and shifting priorities. 

  • Understanding of accounting principles including knowledge of GAAP and accrual-basis accounting. 

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal day-to-day supervision in a fast-paced environment. Requiring a balance of assertiveness, time flexibility, and teamwork, within the framework of high-quality service to internal and external members. 

  • Reliable and accountable with a high degree of pride in the work delivered.

Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000
