Financial Talent has partnered with a top client within the real estate industry to identify top talent for a newly Financial Analyst role. The Senior Accountant will assist with the reconciliation of general ledger accounts, bank accounts and vendor statements, and other reporting and ad hoc duties assigned including assisting in the preparation of consolidated financials. Audit financial reports for compliance and review the company's financial status to ensure there are no discrepancies. As with any position, additional expectations exist. This position will support the accounting team with the day-to-day transactions, operations, compliance, reporting and risk management of the department.

What you will be doing as the Senior Accountant:
Accounts payable management – invoice entry / statement review / vendor management
Accounts receivable management – invoice creation / payment collections
Expense reimbursement and corporate card management – design, implementation, process
Cash management – bank reconciliations, cash reporting
Purchase orders - design, implementation, improve
Monthly journal entry preparation and GL account reconciliation
Monthly financial statement reporting – budget to actual (monthly and YTD)
W-9 management & annual 1099 filings.
Assist in top of the house reporting (e.g. consolidated management report, debt reporting, cash, etc).
Ad hoc duties assigned by CFO and VP of Finance and Accounting.
Assists with special projects as required
What will make you successful as the Senior Accountant:
CPA preferred but not required.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent required.
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in public accounting preferred.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Self-motivated and self-directed.
Ability to work with all levels of management.
Detail oriented with a commitment to excellence.
Able to manage multiple priorities.
